Introducing LIMINAL: HANDPAN EXPLORATIONS, a library of deeply sampled steel Handpan instruments, also known as Hang or Hang Drum, playable with the full version of Kontakt 6.8+. The library introduces our new polyrhythmic engine, which allows you to play rhythmically synchronized, evolving polyrhythmic samples by simply layering MIDI notes on top of each other. The instruments are meticulously picked up with stereo microphones to capture the pitch and natural reverb inherent in the instrument, as well as the subtle characteristics of the player's hand or mallet strikes on the instrument.

In addition to phrase-like polyrhythmic samples, the library also contains more randomized and textured performance samples called "clusters". These clusters are intended to be used as naturalistic undertones, perfect for adding unpredictability and creative imperfection to your work. They add a humanistic detail that synthesized sources don't have.

The library also includes six one-time tapping techniques that players can perform with their hands, fingers, and mallets. Each technique has 42 intensity layers that capture subtle tonal variations from soft to powerful tapping.
