Imaginando has announced an update to itsplug-in (software component)VS Visual Synthesizer version 1.8.0 is a major update that makes it easy to create visuals that respond to music. Equipped with a rendering engine with better synchronization and performance, as well as improved video recording and enhanced audio-visual synchronization, your visuals are sharper, smoother and more dynamic than ever.

Imaginando also introduces four new audio/MIDI demos for you to explore, with support for the FLAC audio format, and MIDI routing is now even more flexible, allowing a single layer to receive MIDI from more than one channel. in addition, with the new Note Range Filter, you can control which notes trigger each layer, for even more precise playing results. And to make sure you're on top of everything, the new Layer Info panel gives you an at-a-glance view of layer contents and MIDI routing.
