We are pleased to present Evolution Bluegrass Banjo, an extensively sampled fingerstyle banjo library. The banjos we've sampled for the library offer sweet, clear bell tones, and their sound has a rich sense of body. The library's tone is very versatile, providing elegant, pure sustain, but also an instant, powerful starting tone that can add power to your songs when needed. This banjo is also no stranger to a brave, tough sound, which can be achieved through its louder dynamics, playing closer to the bridge, or utilizing the available built-in effects options.

Evolution Bluegrass Banjo is based on our Evolution engine, which offers you a wealth of appointments: an innovative sweep pattern editor, automatic chord detection and a powerful built-in effects engine. If you've used any guitar or bass libraries that use the Evolution engine, you'll be very familiar with its interface and workflow. The library contains many factory presets for ready-to-use classic and modern banjo tones, perfect for mixing.

We developed this library in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, one of Utah's most prestigious recording studios, whose owner and recording engineer, Guy Randle, has skillfully combined analog audio equipment to subtly shape and emphasize the rich tonal qualities of the banjo.

For his sampling session, Guy Randle recorded multi-talented multi-instrumentalist Ryan Tilby, who is known for his wide range of sounds and styles and has played Telluride, Merlefest, FanFest, RockyGrass and countless other festivals across the U.S., as well as numerous tours in Europe. His music has been featured on Duck Dynasty, Discovery Channel, and Outdoor Photo Adventures.Ryan Tilby also provides remote recording services for clients around the world in need of guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, and ukulele tracks.
