Special Reserves: Nashville Banjo gets you as close as possible to the variety of sounds and musicality of a live player. We've sampled sustains and overtones, with tons of loops for each note. This includes up and down strumming in three dynamics over a wide range. During fast playback, an additional set of samples is triggered for even more variation and agility, so you never have to worry about rapid repetition. For further authenticity, we've also sampled the drone strings separately (to provide harmonies).
Production-ready tones blend seamlessly into country, bluegrass, folk, and other genres. Easily tweak sound and performance with eight intuitive controls in a one-page GUI. For a bold, breezy solo sound Use the Release and Pluck controls to dial in a more original, realistic sound. Play busy plucked parts Put them in mono mode to avoid overlapping notes, and use the Response control to tighten up live performances. All controls are automatable and MIDI learnable.
A true banjo player will change the tone by moving their hands to different fret positions as they play. We've fully sampled both hand positions so you can use the hand position control to get a warmer, mellower sound in the high position or a brighter sound in the low position.
