FM synthesizersExakt is an intuitive and easy-to-use FM synthesizer that holds a special place in the history of synthesizers.plug-in (software component)It is designed to make FM synthesis more accessible.

Like many older machines, the Exakt has 4 operators that can be arranged in various FM algorithms. Each operator has a different waveform, such as basic sine, sawtooth, square and triangle. Then, in addition to the 8 classic waveforms of the Yamaha TX81Z, four additional enhanced TX waveforms are included.

Each operator has its own amplitude envelope generator that supports 5-point TX envelopes. These envelopes have been modeled to simulate TX characteristics. In addition, up to 16 points can be added to the loopable envelope to create complex shapes.

Combined with a flexible modulation matrix, creamy chorus, steely distortion and stereo delay effects, Exakt has a sound that can be used for all types of music.
