Parker Oboe is a true library of continuo oboes played by Dr. Andrew Parker, Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Texas.

Recorded at Orb Studois in Austin, Texas, our goal was to create a responsive, flexible instrument that could handle a variety of excitingorchestral musicenvironment without any key switching.

The Workhorse patch is all-round; with confident mid-range dynamics.The Fat Lead is Andrew's full-throttle oboe - useful when you need intensity, attitude and a soaring melody.The Emotoinal offers lyrical performances on the alto piano, while the Delicate explores the instrument's very soft, ethereal side.

We also captured a variety of inhaled breaths and subsequent "pre-attack" air/tongue noise - which really helped the performance when added before/between phrases.

For Emotoinal and Delicate, playing legato at 1-89 will activate performances with natural, progressive vibrato, while 90-127 will play performances with a faster vibrato entry - allowing you to instantly enhance vibrato phrases in the melody.Breaths

Patches are collections of inhalations taken from an entire session. Incorporating breaths before or between phrases can enhance your modeling, filling it with presence and realism.
