One of the most frequent requests we've received over the years has been for a cinematic solo vocal compilation focusing on Bulgarian folk singing. Now, Voices of Rhodope - Anna is here to do just that, and we've made sure it's easy to use and playable for everyone.

The ensemble includes all vowels as well as "Mm" and various ornaments in real legato, so you can instantly create authentic Bulgarian vocal performances with just a few taps of the keyboard.

Anna was recorded in a medium-sized hall in a standard surround sound configuration, like a movie soundtrack recording. This allows her voice to blend smoothly into orchestral arrangements, but is also suitable for pop or EDM productions.

The library is designed with a single dynamic layer (strong sound) to maintain a non-phase realistic sound inside the sampler. Nonetheless, due to the nature of the different vowels, it is still possible to create highly dynamic performance effects. For example, "Ah" has a more dramatic quality compared to "Mm".

In addition to this, we recorded three different sustained tones (normal sustained, ornamented sustained, and shaking/"trésene" [Bulgarian] sustained), two legato types (normal and ornamented), and two release tones (normal and rising/"trésene " release).

All of these can be accessed directly by playing the keyboard (as well as using the CC64 - Sustain Pedal), as we want these sounds to be immediately available when you use the library, without having to tweak the controller in the GUI.

Currently, the library is only available exclusively on the official NI website.
