Emma Legato is a brilliant collection of playable cinematic vocals with three transport and a legato tempo control that automatically adapts to your playing or piano roll programming. It includes cinematic reverb options and a selection of snapshots for quick sound customization, and is a powerful and user-friendly tool for creating rich vocal textures and melodic lines for any cinematic or ambient piece.

Emma Legato was created in response to customer demand for a true Legato sample library, but what does that mean?

"True Legato" is a sampling technique that allows the user to play expressive and highly realistic parts by recording individual notes within the musician's range, as well as transitions between each note and every possible other note ...... This is A lot of samples!

In the main screen, you can choose between Humming, Poco Vibrato and Aahs, with their expressive vibrato. Then there's SPEED...

speed control
If you're playing faster, you'll want the transition to be faster as well, or, if you're playing a lush, moody line, you'll want the transition to be slower with a bit of natural glissando: that's where the SPEED control comes in.

Adjust SPEED to suit your music, or click AUTO and Emma Legato automatically adjusts the speed of the transition based on the distance between notes. The longer the distance, the slower the transition.

There's also a handy keyswitch to turn AUTO mode on and off if you want to make on-the-fly adjustments in a particular passage.The EXPRESSION slider is a simple pre-effects volume control, which is especially useful if you want extra control over the shape of your performance.

Emma Legato has a ready-made cinematic reverb, perfect for epic vocals. If you want a more cinematic or ambient sound - there are two signals available ......

- blue (color) - A shimmering, very diffuse vibe with a huge tail.
- pink color - Slowly modulated reverb with some grain-like processing.

In addition, a selection of snapshots are available to help you quickly access highly usable sounds.
