The performer uses a large-diaphragm condenser microphone to pick up the sound at close range, capturing the breath and characteristic intimacy of each sample. The library is perfect for adding unpredictability and creative imperfection.The LIMINAL series is not for fast passages or soaring melodies. Instead, you might think of the library as a collection of naturalistic pads - providing humanizing details not found in synthesized sources. Several articulations are very rhythmic and synchronized, taking advantage of Kontakt's Time Machine Pro feature.

The user interface allows layering, mixing and inverting sounds. The new "Crossfade Widget" allows clever mixing of sound layers with intuitive color-coded controls. The LFO control can also be enabled, allowing the DAW's tempo to determine the modulation of individual layer volumes.
