The 1971 Estonian Grand Piano is a full depth sampling of Soviet era grand pianos. The Estonian piano series has been called the secret Steinway of Eastern Europe - with a uniquely dark, emotional and melancholic character.

The Estonia Grand includes sustains, breaks, and strumming patterns that can be seamlessly customized to fit your compositional needs. Short note breaks are recorded with a 5 RR pr. force layer - allowing you to play incredibly fast phrases with clarity and definition on the sound's onset.8Dio 1971 Estonian Grand Piano also includes our newest Chaos FX, designed specifically for sound design. We've included a number of new custom Textural Convolution Delays, which allow the instrument to delay textures from other non-piano sound sources.

We recorded and processed the Estonia Grand at 24-bit / 96Khz on a carefully run Soviet-era soundtrack stage, then downsampled to 48k for easy streaming. The library contains 6 different types of vintage microphone sticks including Neumann UM57, Vintage Lomo, Sennheiser MKH40, Aston Spirits, Neumann KM 184, and hybrid mic positions made by combining all the mics used in the session. Recorded on a 100% analog signal stream, we offer you an expressive and unique Soviet piano.
