Afflatus Chapter 2 captures commanding musical performances rather than static generic samples, showcasing several carefully curated ensembles based on excerpts from some of our and your favorite film scores and classical repertoire. These highly specialized and inspiring patches provide instantly satisfying results beyond what can be achieved with traditional multisampling. Recorded with different articulations and dynamic levels, these carefully curated ensembles are far more than one trick ponies; they are serious soundtrack and music production tools.
From 10 phantom horns capable of playing a thundering wall of brass while still maintaining clarity and organic sound, to Marshall Amps amplifying themselves into the room to form the playable, expressive and refined brass swells of The Chosen One, and the muted trumpet with vibraphone and saxophone, there are many colors available. A lot of test sessions were needed to fully utilize the concepts on which they are based. We are proud to say that in version 1.0 of Afflatus Chapter 2 Brass, we have 9 different selected ensembles with a wide range of playing styles and dynamic layers.
