This little monster is a very, very creepy and dark metalpercussionand semi-melodic effects collection, perfect for horror and suspense soundtracks, sound design, trailer effects and post-production, experimental and ambient music, or any other use you can think of. The origin of this strange creation/discovery will always remain a taboo secret - even though we ran a contest where over 130 people tried to guess its origin. What we can tell you is that we hammered and played it as hard as we could ...... or as hard as we could, depending on how you look at it. We used bows, mallets, metal rods, rubber balls, fingers, fists, drumsticks, nylon, metal brushes, files and rasps, water and clay to make all sorts of demonic songs from this contraption.

We use viola bows at the edge of the throne to create weird melodies and dissonant tones. Includes several types of bowed string instrument groups including long sustains, medium glissando effectors, short staccato, short staccato, and vibrato sustains. There are many different mallet rubbing, paintbrush, finger and comb effects to explore. Finger Drag, Rubber Ball and Flat Mallet Rubbing are created by dragging the edge of the mallet (or finger) along the surface on the throne in long arcs and lines. This causes it to resonate in a similar way to rubbing a gong. Mallet percussion is made with wooden, felt and metal-tipped mallets and sticks to produce a standard metal percussion set. In Iron Throne 2.0, we created new ambient sounds, drones, and ambient pads from the original source recordings. The library also includes 20 new custom FX presets for instant inspiration for your next movie/video game score, soundtrack or music composition.

The interface is rounded off by our modular FX rack panel, featuring 18 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of the 10 available slots in any order you like. You'll find classic phase shifters, flangers, delays, distortion, amp and cabinet simulators, compressors, equalizers, rotators, and more. The Reverb effects include our favorite convolution reverb impulse responses for 99 different room, hall, chamber, and outdoor environments, as well as another 40 custom FX impulses that radically change the sound and open up a whole new world of musical possibilities. We've added tons of FX rack-chain factory presets to help you get started!
