"Dominus" is Latin for "Lord". The abbreviation for the female "Domina" is "Donna", which is the modern Italian word for "woman". We focused on making something that was both playful and fun, as well as something based on traditional church hymns and prayers, hence the creation of Dominus Chior.

When the Fluffyaudoi adventure began with the release of our first sample library, we were already dreaming of what it would be like to sample a vocal ensemble. Five years have passed since our first domino, My Piano, was released. Thanks to our collaborators and friends, as well as our loyal supporters and fierce critics, we have gained a wealth of experience. We achieved this by choosing two choirs that have a long history of special collaboration with Mario Ranallo, so they already know each other very well, but which are usually conducted by different conductors.

Likewise, we wanted to find the right place to experience this very special instrument: either a church, a concert hall or a recording studio, but not any of them. That's why we chose to experience the Dominus Choir at the wonderful Sala Giardino in Crema. It's the same place we discovered and appreciated during our "Renaissance Event". We started on July 11th with the women's vocal choir "La Rose". Usually conducted by Ms. Jose Borqo, the girls arrived in the morning in all their glory. After a stunning performance, we were more confused than pleased. How can these male choirs play such beautiful pieces and how do they sound compared to these wonderful voices? But what surprised us even more was that after the first day with the male voice choir-especially after a great dinner where they didn't save money on wine-they continued to sing flawlessly, with just the right amount of emotion and energy, almost as if those angelic The mood and energy were just right, almost like a natural "hellish" speech in those angelic, low voices. It's amazing how the same two things can come out so differently from different perspectives. For example, the girls almost always wave their hair as if they were drawing or pulling magic strings, feeling that their gestures somehow help their vocalizations. One of the things we were more uncertain about - even though the conductors assured us of this during our initial meeting - was the singers' stamina. We thought.vocalIt fatigues easier and faster than any other instrument. We planned a short recording session with lots of breaks in between, but luckily we were wrong this time. Both the "La Rose" and "Novecento" choirs surprised us so much that they sang not only during the recording sessions, but even after lunch and dinner just for fun. And since we found the human voice to be one of the most moving instruments, we were in tears almost every time we ate!
