Featuring the vocals of classically trained soprano Emma May Price, you can effortlessly evoke a myriad of emotions with a soundscape filled with unforgettable tension, fear, and anticipation, or with the beauty and grace of her captivating, ethereal melodies.

New Engine
Aria: At the heart of Vocalscapes is the work we've done for the Kontakt Player's new customized Aria engine is full of modulation possibilities and expressive effects, as well as ways to work with your own samples!

Begin by browsing through a variety of articulations from traditional "Aah" and "Mmh" to heavily processed vocals, selecting one for each of the two available slots, and then use the intuitively integrated XY pads to create evolving vocal-based soundscapes.

Take it a step further by layering or crossfading articulations, adding two separate filters and assigning any parameters to be controlled by the X or Y axis: the limit is your creativity.

Despite the clean and smooth interface, the creative options don't stop there! Aria: Vocalscapes provides two step sequencers for the filters, with LFOs for each layer, thus giving you extra depth for infusing rhythmic motion and modulation into your compositions.

Shape your audio further with three effect slots and an impressive FX panel that adjusts to the selected effect - try different combinations and fine-tune your sound with ease.

What's New in Aria Vocalscapes v1.1 (released May 2024)

- Improved user sample import experience with automatic pitch detection for dropped samples and new options to let user samples loop or play back in a single pass.

- If activated, the Motion Controller now only operates when the notes are actually played.

- New per-layer LFO to PAN modulation available.

- 20 new snapshots.

- All non-pitch articulations are now monophonic to avoid the occasional phase problems that occur when playing chords with these articulations.

- Minor bug fixes and minor GUI improvements.

Note: New features mean that sessions saved using older versions of the engine may sound slightly different when opened after the update. We therefore recommend that existing users complete their projects before updating, or render the relevant parts to audio.
