In addition to synthesis, I had to manually edit the audio files to flesh out the instrument sounds and even optimize the audio phasing. The goal of my experimental product is not to replace a real orchestra sound library, although I know that carefully recording an orchestra in a studio or on stage can be very distracting.

Since I'm mostly concerned with sound, the user interface is fairly simple and doesn't have a lot of features.
The percussion is entirely original; indeed, while persuasive, the marching drums produced by the overtones mix lack the dynamics of real marching drums.
