Rather than simply relying on a static and predetermined sample, this technique infuses each note sampled with subtle and unique variations in the performance that preserves the natural complexity and richness of live instrumentation over a very long period of time. This keeps the listener engaged and the performance feeling fresh, emotive, and dynamic.
