iZotope released the original iZotope back in 2003. Trash. plug-in (software component), which is marketed as a multi-band distortion tool. After nearly 10 years of production, the new version is less an update than a complete overhaul based on the same theme of total audio annihilation.

Multi-frequency earth-mix module

At the heart of Trash is its two-stage, multi-band waveform shaping distortion - allowing you to link pairs of distortions together for sound processing. Split your signal into multiple frequency bands and apply distortion to each frequency independently, each with its own custom waveform. Use the new Waveform Trace to see exactly how you're processing waveforms in real time, and use DC offset filtering to center them and keep them on track.

Filter Module

iZotope's Trash 2 gives you two new redesigned filter modules to drive the frequencies you want into distortion or tame the frequencies you don't want. Use the redesigned filter shapes and the new Vowel filters to shape the tone and make it your own.

New product. The "AuthAssistant.exe" has been discarded and all iLok APIs
