Brainworx bx_clipper truncates waveform peaks above a set threshold (Ceilinq). It allows you to create mixes that play louder without increasing their peak levels. Unlike a limiter, bx_clipper increases loudness while avoiding the pumping effect of compression.

The clipping engine in bx_clipper offers two modes of operation. the FET mode provides a smooth and natural sound, while the Diode mode provides sharp distortion.
