Our first Motown Bass was dedicated to the legendary James Jamerson last year and was recorded on a Precision Bass.

We soon realized that we would be recording HOFNER Bass on the second version of Motown Bass.

When we noticed in our recordings that the bass sounded great, we decided to exclusively sample three different positions in this version using 10 loops and 3 intensity layers.

We managed to sample and script the Höfner Bass in the neck and bridge positions, so the sound sounds very authentic.

The results were impressive!

The real strength of this bass is its playability.

No machine gun effect thanks to 10 cycles and 3 intensity levels.

A typical Motown Bass feel can be felt due to the different ways of articulation.

We have succeeded in sampling and scripting the Höfner bass in the neck, both and in the bridge position so that the sound sounds incredibly real and authentic.

The result is more than impressive!
