The Shreddage 3 Precision is designed to be the ultimate versatile virtual bass, utilizing all the techniques used by real bassists, no matter what the musical style. We spent months curating the perfect instrument and recording setup: Tony Dickinson (bassist of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra) interprets all samples on a high-end American-made 5-string electric bass with flat strings, creating a beautiful, detailed sound. The warmth and fullness of each note was further enhanced by an all-analog UA|610 DI preamplifier.

For core playing techniques, we've captured plucked, fingerpicked, and slapped playing that contains a wealth of dynamic variations and looping samples. Add in dabs, flicks, press/releases, slides, vibrato, overtones, and a variety of effects, and the end result is a superbly virtuosic instrument that can handle almost any melodic line you throw at it. Whether it's rock, metal, pop, funk, jazz or blues, the Shreddage 3 Precision will fit into any mix.

Console: Modular FX Rack with Mixer
The Console is our new mixer, modular effects rack and pedalboard designed to give you full control over your virtual guitar's tone. Compared to our previous FX rack, which was limited to a handful of preset modules, the Console offers up to 30 effect modules to choose from!

These include a wide range of equalizers (digital and analog styles), compressors, spatial effects, modulation effects, amps, distortion pedals, reverbs, and more than 30 custom cabinets IR's recorded specifically for Shreddage 3. These cabinets cover all the important sounds you might need, including dynamic and condenser mics in multiple positions, as well as ribbon mics on some models.

The console allows you to easily save and load FX chains or presets between projects, and even switch between different Shreddage 3 products. It also allows you to mix and blend tones between guitar pickups, and add custom insert effects to each pickup if you wish.
Total Articulation Control Technology (TACT)
Shreddage 3 Precision includes an updated version of TACT technology that allows you to customize how all articulations are mapped and triggered! Everyone has their own preferences about how to play or write sheet music for virtual guitar, and with TACT you can create the perfect setup for your DAW.
