How to install Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

1. Create an empty folder. The name of the folder itself and its path must not contain Cyrillic letters. The folder must be writable (it cannot be installed in the Program Files folder).
2. Run the installer (KontaktPortable_v801.exe).
3. Click the Browse... button and select the empty folder created.
4. Click the Extract button.
5. When you start the Library Manager for the first time, it automatically scans the factory contents as well as the installed libraries (scanning in the registry).
When the scan is complete, you must save the changes and (re)start Kontakt.
If the changes are not saved the first time you start it, you can start an automatic scan at any time using the Alt + Insert key combination or from the context menu of the Manager:
