Using "real" legato samples with the SC2's real-time legato slide feature, you can get a perfectly realistic representation of human finger legato slides that can't be reproduced by pitch-varying slide simulations. The hammer-ons and pull-offs are also real recorded samples. Real-time legato slides are available for all instruments (including chords) except FX instruments. Real-time hammer-ons and pull-offs are available for single-note instruments.
"Cricket" is a guitar technique often used by metal/rock guitarists in their solos. By hitting the tremolo rocker, the tremolo mechanism vibrates rapidly and makes a very cool "crying" sound, like a cricket (insect).
In actual guitar playing, you will hear feedback when a heavily distorted tone is played in front of the amplifier (or in a certain position.) The SC2 reproduces the feedback sound. The pitch and fade time of the feedback can be changed.
In addition to the user chord editor, you can configure how each string is played when you hit the sweep and regular keys.

The arpeggio keys are specialized for each string. When you select a chord instrument, each note of the chord is automatically assigned to the arpeggio key for that string, so you can play arpeggios with the keys.

With SPI's automatic stroke detection feature, SPI can automatically detect the current beat position and determine the correct stroke direction (down or up). There are several stroke detection modes and you can also manually control the stroke direction.
"Double tracking" is a technique often used when recording guitar tracks. It provides a good, wide stereo image and thickness for guitar tracks. With SC Electric Guitar 2 SPI, you can easily reproduce it by simply loading a two-track multitrack. The same samples are not played in both channels at the same time.
You can instantly select an instrument (articulation) using the instrument selection keyswitch. All instruments can be assigned to any keyswitch, and you can create your own keyswitch mappings. The keyswitches have a chord recognition feature that allows you to select a chord instrument not only by pressing the key that assigns the chord, but also by pressing a chord note within the range of the keyswitch.
