It was protected by WIBU's previous dongle solution called WibuKey (released in 1989). Some time later, Sequoia adopted their next solution, CodeMeter, which supports modern standard encryption such as AES, ECC, RSA, and others. Sequoia 12.1.x was suddenly cracked by some groups. This is because the main executable binaries are not protected by AxProtector. In any case, some other tools such as DDP are still protected by AxProtector. As a result, these were lost in the Sequoia 12 cracked version. Unfortunately, these updates have AxProtector ed executables. There were no cracks after that.Sequoia 13.0.x was once extracted from AxProtector by someone.
