You may have an extensive collection of IRs, but please don't waste valuable resources on IR loaders that don't sound good enough.

Believe it or not, each IR loader does sound different, even if they share the same algorithm. And the secret to the difference is the rounding error in the convolutional DSP code.
Sound quality is always the first thing we care about. Like the adaptive filter topology we created for the Kirchhoff-EQ, we designed noise shaping algorithms specifically for IR convolution to ensure that each of your IRs "pushes the air" in the Cabinetron.
Optional nonlinear enhancement

Guitar amps can be simulated well by convolution because the 99% behavior of the amp/speaker is all linear. But what about the nonlinearity of the final 1%?

The Cabinetron not only acts as a transparent linear IR loader, but also simulates the non-linear behavior of the voice coil moving inside the magnet. With the enhanced nonlinearity, all your IRs will sound more like real speakers and your tones will sound more "3D".

Of course, you have full control over this parameter. Adjust it or keep it, it's up to you.
