What is AI Tone Deformation?
Using pre-trained AI models, you can transform any incoming audio into the character or "style" of sound on which the model is based. In real time. Sometimes this leads to surprising results.

At the heart of Neutone Morpho are Morpho AI models, where the magic happens. You can interact with the loaded Morpho model in two modes to influence the tone morphing process.
In Macro Mode, you have four macro knobs that allow you to change the general behavior of the model. For example, the "Serendipity" knob determines the level of randomness in the transmission, with higher Serendipity producing more complex sounds. Each model has its own unique macro. For example, a percussion model might have a knob called "decay" that controls the decay of each hit.
The Morpho AI model processes incoming audio into 6 or more values called "latent variables". In Micro View, you can use Morpho Modifiers to directly offset and scale these values to shift the output in certain directions. You may even find a hidden correlation between Latent Variables and the output pitch.
