The BBC Sound Library - CD 1-60 offers 2,400 sound effects from the BBC's top engineers in a truly versatile collection. Originally compiled on 60 audio CDs, it is now available on hard disk drives in 3 formats, and can also be purchased as a download in 2 formats. All broadcast wav files are embedded with searchable metadata. The international soundscapes available on this compilation were recorded in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America - wherever the BBC's sound engineers were stationed or posted.
