The UBK-2 is equipped with two newly tuned saturation engines on either side of the updated compressor section, a pre-compression engine and a post-compression engine, each sounding appropriate for the type of transient it is likely to experience. The old 4-band EQ utilizes Kush's new Magpha-based EQ algorithm. All of these linear and non-linear processes can now be monitored via Kush's signature "Tri-Meter" display, which first appeared on the noise-loving Silika compressor. This VU meter makes it easy to monitor input and output levels, gain reduction, or all three at once at a glance.
