Easily assign sounds to layers using the Instrument Browser, which contains 50 uniquely sampled instruments categorized for easy recall via Sound Yeti's proprietary preset browser. Summon any combination of the three layers to assemble an all-star supporting cast of timbres, textures, and intonations for mallets, then mix magical hybrid mallet passages, or break a few rules and design fully realized hybrid synthesizer keys, percussion pads, and ensemble textures that dominate your musical narrative.

Each stereo layer comes with a set of sound-shaping tools; ADSR, delay, reverb (with 24 custom IR environments), 4-band EQ, and Sound Yeti's proprietary LFO design with tempo sync, resonance, waveform selection, fade control, and great LFO visualization. Like the Revelation Fusion Harp, the Revelation Hybrid Mallets include a 16-step arpeggiator with two unique playing modes. Easy to use, the arpeggiator is sure to set you on a new path of exploring atmospheres, textures, magical mallets, and dynamic sounds that will help you generate the sounds destined to be the centerpiece of your work.

The key to the arppeggiator is the Layers button. With the Layers button turned off, the Layers ABC will not be played/included in the arpeggiator. This means that the Mallet Instrument is the only arpeggiator. However, Layers ABC will play its programmed sound as preset. This setting is truly unique to the Revelation series, and allows you to easily create arpeggio patterns with static accompaniment of synthesizer layers. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to create dynamic underscores, atmospheres and juicy textures in Revelation Hybrid Mallets with just one snapshot.

More traditionally, when the Layer button is enabled, the layer sounds will play along with the mallet instruments in the arpeggio, creating a multi-layer instrument sequence. Explore and remix the layer levels for more interesting and unexpected variations.

The arpeggiator has programmable step speeds. Gating; for setting relative note lengths, latch control to keep the arpeggiator playing after releasing the key, and octave settings to repeat patterns ranging from -3 to +3.
