The user interface of the modeler is very simple given its power. The modeling parameters refer to easy-to-understand real instrument properties and playing techniques, not mathematical abstractions. The synthesis interface is one page long and allows the user to modulate any knob from any source with just two mouse clicks.

The Outersect sound set provided by the modeler has been improved over years of production and live performance. Leads can completely capture the listener's attention and take center stage in music production just like vocals, electric guitar leads, or violin solos. String patches use a unique performance feature that allows players to realistically simulate stringed instrument playing conventions such as hammer-ons and pull-offs using standard MIDI controllers.
