Installation method:Copy to your VST3/AAX plug-in (software component)Folder!
TotalEQ 1.3.2 is available, this update to plugin owners, including:
Fixed misalignment of spectrum with EQ bands
Fixed mouse wheel to reset Q to 0.1 on first move
Fixed an issue where some bands were muted after disabling "Listen" to the band
Add wheel controls for frequency and gain
The HoRNet TOTAL EQ is a precise and versatile equalizer with a handy spectrum analyzer. The unique feature of the TOTAL EQ is that every parameter of every equalizer band can be controlled from the control points on the frequency graph, which means you don't have to look around for the controls of the band you are editing, but everything will be within reach of your mouse pointer.
The EQ itself is very versatile, with up to 12 different bands available, any of which can be run like a digital precision EQ or have analog characteristics. The analog emulation in this plug-in is the most advanced we've ever done, and while it certainly simulates the saturation of analog devices, it also simulates component tolerances, so no one band behaves like another. In short, it means a slight unpredictability that makes things more interesting and "alive".
Each band works like any of the 17 different available filter types, including low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, high-shelf, low-shelf, and the classic all-parameter peak equalizer.
In addition to the standard eq controls specific to the filter type, each band can be used as a dynamic filter, borrowing from our HoRNet DynEQ's automatic startup and release, and automatic thresholding, an approach that allows you to easily control the dynamic behavior of each band without many controls, making a dynamic equalizer as simple as dragging a point on the screen.
Each band of the EQ has a Mid/Side function that allows you to individually select the source and correctly fine-tune the frequency response of the stereo image.
The plug-in also provides global controls that allow you to globally enable or disable analog emulation and saturation, as well as the ability to link inputs and outputs so that when you change one, the other is updated accordingly, and you can easily drive the plug-in's analog engine without having to change its output levels.
To make EQ decisions even easier, we've also added an "EQ LOUD" button that stands for "Equal Loudness", borrowing the code from our CLMS plugin, which allows us to keep the loudness level constant no matter what you do with the eq band, which in turn This in turn allows you to judge your EQ decisions and eliminate the infamous "loudness bias"!
