Marcio
Doctor is a percussionist and composer with a fine ear for texture and rhythm. Originally from Argentina and now settled in Hamburg, he has traveled the world and amassed a crazy amount of stuff that can make a huge sound. For this project, Marcio has carefully selected the most appropriate and sometimes eclectic instruments to build a plethora of complementary rhythmic and groovy textures; Bombo and Tan Tan for beautiful low mellow thumps, Riq and various tambourines for marching drum-like grooves, and unlikely metal and glass objects for high-end clicks... ...and a wooden stool!
