V1.2
What's new in Merge previous libraries
CinePerc as a whole is now represented by one library instead of four (Core, Pro, Aux, Epic). All instruments are clearly organized in a new folder structure that helps users to immediately identify the type of sound they are looking for (e.g. metal, melodic, ethnic, etc.). The original instruments are also saved in a folder labeled "08 LEGACY".
compatibility
KONTAKT PlayCinePerc does not require you to purchase any additional sample playback software and is licensed to work with Native Instrument's free Kontakt player to use with it. Now all you need is a sequencer such as Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, LIVE, or Pro Tools to get up and running.
Orchestral Ensemble Patch
The new "CinePerc Orchestral Percussion Ensemble" patch consists mainly of instruments from the "01 ORCHESTRAL" folder and provides the user with a complete orchestral percussion pallet under the fingers. Full orchestral percussion pallet. The patch is intuitively mapped and allows for quick and easy creation of orchestral percussion models. Detailed mapping information can be found in the user manual.
remap
The entire CinePerc instrument family has been remapped to create a consistent and intuitive layout for the user. Non-chromatic instruments are now centered on middle C on the keyboard, so users immediately know where to start when loading a new instrument and playing it. Other minor tweaks have been added for ease of use, such as splitting several instruments into their own patches for clarity (e.g., different mallet types, different snare drums, etc., each instrument now has its own patch).
