Rock Creek Tongue and Drum
The Rock Creek Steel Tongue Drum is a hybrid of the traditional Caribbean Steel Drum, Wooden Tongue Drum and Kalimba.
Pan Drums II Characteristics are a pair of tongue drums tuned to twelve equal temperament and played with mallets. Their sound is brighter and more subtle than the Hang or Halo type drums that complement them.
Hang MK.1
The Hang or Hang Drum is the original and best known handpan. The Hang Mk1 we sampled is tuned in F, but can also be played in twelve equal temperament in Pan Drums software.
Halo In C
This Pantheon Steel Halo is tuned in C and has 8 notes instead of the 9 notes of the B model.
Pan Drums software allows any drum to be played in any key for maximum flexibility.
Hang MK.2
The Mk 2 basically kept the shape of the Mk 1, but now had a copper cladding on the top hemisphere and edges.
The Mk 2 has only 7 notes around the Ding. This design is said to be sturdier, hold intonation better over time, and have a slightly longer and purer acoustic resonance.
Halo In B
Pantheon Steel USA has been developing the Halo handpan since 2007.The Halo, also known as the Halo Genesis, is bigger and heavier than the Hang, giving it a lower sound, with the original soprano and tenor becoming baritone. This model has 9 notes.
Meridian (new in V2)
Produced in Bristol, UK since 2015, we think the Meridian has its own unique and beautiful qualities. Possibly cleaner and purer than the Hang, it can be fitted with pickups internally. Our model is the Amara D.
Rav Vast (new feature in V2)
Developed in Russia in 2013, the Rav Vast is a huge evolution of the simple tongue drum concept: all its overtones have been tuned, giving it a huge and expressive sound.

The Rockcreek steel tongue drum is a cross between a traditional Caribbean steel drum, a wooden tongue drum and a Kalimba.
Pan Drums II features a pair of tongue drums tuned chromatically, played with mallets. The sound is much brighter and more delicate than the Hang or Halo type drums and compliments them very well. type drums and compliments them very well.

The Hang, or Hang Drum is the original and best known handpan. The Hang Mk1 we sampled is in the key of F, but can also be played chromatically in the Pan Drums software.

HALO IN C
This Pantheon Steel Halo is tuned to the key of C, and has 8 notes as opposed to 9 on the B model.
