Simultaneous inspection and comparison of multiple tracks
HoRNet MultiFreqs is a spectrum analyzer that provides two different types of audio spectrum visualization for up to 28 tracks simultaneously.
The first type of visualization is called "analog" and is inspired by the analog hardware spectrum analyzers still used in many studio consoles. The second type, called "digital", is our unique interpretation of a traditional spectrum analyzer based on the FFT, the standard mathematical method of converting an audio file into its spectral components.
MultiFreqs' user interface is fully scalable and, thanks to its hardware-accelerated drawing technology, renders clearly and smoothly on any monitor.
Up to 28 tracks can be displayed at the same time and you can select which tracks you want to display. In VST3 and AAX host software, the plugin is able to read the track names, but they can be easily changed by simply clicking on the instance name.
The plug-in offers different integration times and level ranges, as well as peak and average displays.MultiFreqs also displays the "mid" (or sum) portion and the "side" (or difference) portion of the stereo signal separately to help you isolate the problem frequencies. problem frequencies.
To make finding conflicts between tracks faster, MultiFreqs also provides a "Conflicts" button that shows only the portion of the spectrum that is common to all enabled tracks.
Using a multi-track spectrum analyzer like HoRNet MultiFreqs can help you check for frequency clashes between different tracks (e.g. the classic snare and bass drum combo or bass drum and bass), which can help you get a more separated mix. When the GUI is closed, it takes up almost no CPU resources, so you can keep an instance of MultiFreqs on each track in your mix and turn it on when you need it.
Features:
- Two different views of the spectrum: analog and digital
- Optional dB range
- Three different credit times
- Peak and average display and reset
- Center/Side mode (displays the sum or difference of the stereo channels)
- Up to 28 different tracks can be displayed simultaneously
- "Conflict" mode, showing overlapping spectra between tracks
- Example of automatic track name acquisition (available in VST3 and AAX formats)
- Free choice of analyzer color for each instance
- Preset saving and loading
- Scalable vector GUI
- Hardware-accelerated GUI
