Sahara Beats is a loop-slice based library of two Kontakt instruments covering 100 different percussion styles, each with 24 different variations. The library contains over 2000 Middle Eastern percussion beat and rhythm samples. The interface contains a number of amazing features and capabilities that allow users to manipulate loops to create, arrange and combine their own highly personalized grooves.

The Sahara Beats also come with a full FX rack containing over 100 convolution reverbs, delays, chorus, phase shifters, flangers, distortion, overdrive, and amp simulators, again allowing the user to further alter the sound of the loops they are using.

In Sahara Beats, any individual slice in the loop can be replaced, adjusted, inverted, stretched, panned, and randomized. The volume and attack of each slice is also editable. Loops are synchronized with the host speed, and you can use the Stretch feature to further improve synchronization. Slice sequences that form loops can be dragged into the DAW as MIDI files. Additionally, by disabling the loop function, each individual slice can be played as a single click, enabling users to create their own percussion beats.

The loop can be tuned as a whole using the Tuning keyswitch, or tuning can be applied to individual slices using the Tuning tab. Styles and variations can be changed using the keyswitches, and the "Feel" menu provides five additional "feels" for the original loop, as well as a tempo menu that supports half/double speed playback.
