DC-ZERO - Vintage synthesizer for Native Instruments Kontakt. The iconic 80's inspired synthesizer is known for its DCO's captivating sound, unique and rich chorus and of course its easy to use workflow.

As the first part of Kontakt's "Fusion Series" line of new synthesizer themes - and as the name suggests - the fusion of wavetable and multisampling combines the two sound-generation paths into a powerful synergy that offers users more room for creativity and more sound design features and possibilities, just as the previous Kontakt synth sample libraries offered. Users will have more room for creativity and more sound design features and possibilities than ever before with Kontakt's synthesizer sample libraries.

Using Kontakt's powerful sampling engine, combined with its new wavetable engine, DC-ZERO can capture even its exemplary pulse width modulation, capturing the warm analog sound of this famous icon. Giving you more sonic freedom in the sound design process than "multisampling only. The result is a compact instrument that focuses on an easy-to-use workflow, just like an analog synthesizer. Designed with a similar layout, as you'd expect from a modular system - the core synthesizer module is complemented by other tools, such as voice modes for monophonic and polyphonic voicing and predefined chords. Output control module with stereo width, limiter and fx rack routing.

The effects rack is filled with Kontakt's studio-grade sound processing tools, complete with lofi-drive modules: transistorized drivers and bit compressors integrated into one box. Next up are the Choral chorus and Phasis phase-shifting effects. For more dynamic processing and higher saturation, the Supercharger GT acts as a tube compressor, as well as a Solid-G equalizer, giving you everything you need to make finer adjustments. Finally, there's the excellent Replika delay and hybrid reverb module. All effects are kept to a small number of controls to keep the workflow focused on the essential core controls, without distracting your creativity with too many controls or unnecessary menu jumps. All controls are always in sight for a smooth and comfortable workflow at all times.

The 175 presets included have been carefully crafted to cover the basic sounds of classic analog synthesizers, as well as more cinematic pad sounds using a full load of effects racks for genres as diverse as synthwave, deep-house and techno. In detail, the factory presets include 44 Bass, 11 Chords, 11 Drums, 12 FX, 17 Keys, 28 Leads, 30 Pad and 22 Pluck sounds.
