This use of MIDI allows MPE-capable devices to control multiple parameters per note in real time for more expressive instrumentation.

Or further refine your sound design by sequencing chord sound changes.Wavetable, Sampler, and Arpeggiator have all been updated to support MPE.Live comes with MPE presets for every device, bringing a new dimension of interactivity and playability to your sound. The new expression also enables post-polyphony touch on Push. Hybrid Reverb combines convolution and algorithmic reverb. Place your sound in any space, from accurate real-life environments to those that defy physical reality. Use the algorithmic aspect to add control and modulate the reverb tail to run in parallel or in series with the convolution end, or play the hybrid reverb like an instrument used for real-time sound design.

Splits the spectrum of an incoming audio signal into multiple parts, then stretches, shifts, and fuzzes the result through frequencies or notes in subtle or aggressive ways.MIDI sidechain input also allows musicians to manipulate the material in the keys, and even play the device as if it were a chordophone. Convert sounds to parts and feed them into frequency-based delays for metallic echo, frequency shift, and reverb effects. The Freeze function captures and holds a section of audio - either free-running or played in time with the beat - for stutter, burr and fade effects. In collaboration with Robert Henke and inspired by the Publison DHM 89 (an early digital effects processor), this Max for Live pitch shifting device creates jittery burr effects, delayed digital flashes and wacky vibrato. It's a flexible tool for adding character to sounds during on-the-fly experiments in the studio or on stage.
Working with Dillon Bastan to create six interesting instruments and effects inspired by natural and physical processes, Live listens to and adjusts its tempo in real time based on incoming audio, making it a dynamic part of the band rather than a source of tempo that everyone has to follow. You can even turn Live into a tempo-synchronized FX box when you're DJing. Store the state of your macros for later-perfect for creating sound changes or generating and dropping changes immediately during playback. Configure your rack to have between 1 and 16 macros. Use the Random button to randomize the state of the macros. Map this control to MIDI and perform dramatic changes in real time to surprise your audience and yourself.

Set the probability of notes or drums appearing and have Live produce surprising style changes over time. Define ranges of velocity probability for subtle, humanized changes in pattern dynamics. Follow Actions can now be linked to clip lengths, making it faster to create interesting clip sequences. Scene Follow Actions allow you to create evolving arrangements. You can also set Follow Moves to jump to specific clips and enable and disable Follow Moves globally. Created in collaboration with Spitfire Audio, these three instrument packs bring dynamic chambered ensemble textures to any production. These packs capture the musical cues that tie together evolving styles and scenes. Each is a selection of instruments, clips and samples that share a common sonic theme.

Installation Tutorial

WIN version:

1, the installation of the main program Ableton Live 12 Suite Installer.exe, need to change the path is recommended to modify only the front of the disk symbol, such as C to D;

2. Open R2R and copy vcruntime140_1.dll to: (default path) C:ProgramDataAbletonLive 12 SuiteProgram;

3, open C:ProgramDataAbletonLive 12 SuiteProgramAbleton Live 12 Suite.exe, you can create a shortcut to the desktop;

4. Click No Internet Connection in the pop-up window to get the machine code ID;

5, run the registration machine Ableton_KeyGen.exe in R2R, paste the code ID, click to generate the activation file Authorize.auz;

6. Drag the Authorize.auz file to the registration window to complete the activation.

MAC version:

1. Load Ableton Live 12 Suite 12.0 U2B [HCiSO] and pull the main LIVE12 program into the right application;

2. Put Authorize.auz from the dmg on your local hard drive;

3, double-click to open Ableton Live 12 Suite, the registration window pops up, drag the Authorize.auz file to the registration window to complete the activation.
