SpaceBlender opens up a whole new dimension of space and time effects. It's an experimental reverb that lets you create unreal imaginary spaces, as well as shapes, textures and tones that are impossible in the real world.SpaceBlender is inspired by ambient music pioneers who made extensive use of layered tape loops and delays, aiming to create rich, natural, evolving spatial effects.

SpaceBlender makes it easy to create ultra-long (or short) non-linear spatial and richly evolving textures, and transform the simplest sounds into dramatic cinematic soundscapes. Its unique algorithmic architecture allows you to shape shape, density and spectral evolution in unnatural and creative ways.

The Time knob sets the reverb length from 100 milliseconds to 1 minute. In Sync mode, it locks in the tempo of the track, perfect for ambient loops, frozen tails, or threshold effects.

Turn down the Color control for a darker, lo-fi effect, and up for a brighter reverb over time - something you can't achieve with a traditional reverb.The Texture control shapes SpaceBlender's character - from smooth, rich reverb at the top to sparse, dense repetition at the other end.

Mod controls SpaceBlender's ability to handle random motion deep within the layers. Turning it off produces a more static sound, while turning it up increases modulation for a smooth, rich, watery effect. Using Freeze feeds SpaceBlender's output back into itself, creating an evolving, organically degrading environmental loop.

Play Space
SpaceBlender's Visualizer displays the effect's shape, texture, and interaction with sound. This is especially useful for longer setups and shapes with slow attacks - it allows you to see and predict the evolution of the effect. To manipulate the reverb envelope, drag the X/Y cursor around the screen and the effect will change as you play. This is a fun and intuitive way to adjust the timing and shape of the effect in real time.
