The machine was used in producer studios and is known for producing iconic albums such as The Wall, Aja, Rumours, etc. The P821 signature sound is very open and has a large sonic signature, as there is very little electronics in the tape machine and zero transformers, making for a huge soundstage, with no aggressive compression or squelch. This is the first plug-in of its kind where you can actually hear the tape and its response. Listening to the P821 MDN Tape plug-in now recreates the same experience. It is truly incredible and unlike anything else.
