Grooveliner is a MIDI sequencer.plug-in (software component)(VST3, AU) and standalone apps that specialize in manipulating grooves in a multitude of ways. With a single mouse operation, you can effortlessly create swings, tweak accents, introduce subtle time changes, humanizations and various time/tempo shifts, all in real time. You can even capture notes on irregular grids, such as pentatonic and septatonic rhythms, which are useful for making so-called drunken beats. As a MIDI sequencer, it can be applied to any sound source, giving you unlimited possibilities for your music production.

functionality

Creates multiple patterns, each containing multiple tracks.
Song mode allows you to build a song from a combination of patterns. [New in 1.3.0].
Configurable pattern duration (in number of beats)
Configurable grid granularity. The grid can be specified by the number of divisions of the beat (quarter notes): 1 to 10.
A step can be further divided into sub-steps (1 to 7). This subdivision can be configured as a single step or as the duration of the entire note [new in 1.4.0].

Step View mode and Piano Roll mode. The former is for percussion, while the latter is for regular instruments.

Accents : Create accents with fixed intervals and offsets. Two sets of intervals and offsets can be configured, as well as their mixing ratios.

Strum : Strumminq modifier for quitar strumminq effect.
Cycle : Cyclically apply the velocity, timinq or duratoin chanqe for each step (maximum 16 steps interval).
