Montage’s New Frontier: Modern Western sample pack draws inspiration from a blend of classic Western film scores, contemporary country, and a variety of modern genres that have taken the sounds of the American West into new territory. At its core, the pack pays homage to iconic Western themes – think Ennio Morricone’s sweeping, atmospheric orchestrations and the twangy, baritone guitar work that defines the genre. However, it also looks forward, incorporating elements from alt-country, folk rock, and even electronic music to give it a fresh, multifaceted appeal.
