You can add markers and labels, change the gain of highlighted areas, apply fade-in and fade-out effects, or edit the format labels, sample rate, number of channels, bit depth, block alignment, and average bytes/second waveform header.
The software application also allows you to change the sample rate, resolution, conversion quality and jitter mode of your files, start recording according to the time of day, create test signal waveform files, convert stereo files to two mono files and vice versa, and import and export presets to share with other users (e.g. Average, Bandpass, Blender, Compressor , Continuous Noise, Declipper, Dynamics, Echo, Enhancer).

The Batch File Editor allows you to run filters, such as Auto Leveling or Big Click, on multiple files at once. What's more, you can clean up audio tracks by adjusting scratch, crackle, hiss, and buzz levels, create multiple filters from a single filter, manage virtual photo preamp settings, run DirectX plug-ins, and remove clicks, pops, big clicks, harmonic-rich noise, and selected frequencies.

Forensic tools include low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-stop filters with very sharp edges, a spectrogram viewer with frequency versus time, and a clipper for removing clips from distorted files.
You can quantize audio CD tracks, slice files into pieces, find and mark silent passages, normalize gain to 0 dB, perform gain normalization by zooming, burn audio CDs or data discs, and rip audio tracks from audio CDs.

Assessment and conclusions
No error dialogs popped up in our tests, and the app didn't hang or crash. It uses a low CPU and low to medium RAM, but is sometimes slow to perform simple tasks such as changing the position of the main window on the screen.
All things considered, Diamond Cut Forensics Audio Laboratory proves to be a reliable and resourceful application for analyzing, recovering, and enhancing audio tracks that should satisfy most experienced users.
