R2R states that their version only works with the official libraries and official nicnt files. So this version works for bobdule's kontakt and portable kontakt, and doesn't seem to work for kontakt R2R after testing.

This custom codeartifactFor Native Instruments Kontakt, the NICNT file can be generated in 3 steps and contains everything needed for the so-called custom libraries! The NICNT-GENERATOR also includes an extended SNPID-CHECKER that prevents the user from using the specified SNPIDS! It can check over 1,700 SNPIDS in real time, including displaying the corresponding product names, and once you start creating your own custom libraries, it can also distinguish them from Native Instruments' own products. Finally, there is a built-in custom library lister that lists all custom-generated libraries in the system at the push of a button.
