Metaplugin is a plugin that loads other plugins. It's as simple as that. Use this plugin wrapper to build your own effects network using any VST/VST3 (and AU, if you're using a Mac) effects already on your hard disk. To help you get started, the package includes a center-side matrix, a four-band crossover filter, and a routing plug-in. That means instant cross-track routing, mid-side, multi-band compression/distortion/reverb/...you name it.

Of course, this is just the beginning ...... Let your imagination run free, nothing is impossible, from creating your own layered synthesizer sounds to building an entire sound generator from scratch using simple modules.

Another favorite use case for Metaplugin is loading VST plugins in Pro Tools (or AudioUnits in Pro Tools if you're using a Mac). So you can use it as a VST to AAX wrapper or an AU to AAX wrapper. Also, you can use Metaplugin to load VST plugins in Logic/LogicX (VST to AU wrappers) or AU plugins in Cubase (AU to VST wrappers).
