Beatskillz, which sits on a large library of analog and digital processors, this time simulated the Slam Pup, a combination of the American compressor Thrusty and the British multi-pole tube unit saturator Gritty.plug-in (software component)There are only two controls, a Bark to increase saturation and a Bite to increase compression. The name is as graphic as the modeling then.

With the vast array of analog and digital processors in the Beatskillz armory, we've been searching for the "perfect" combination of gears that sound good and don't require much tweaking.

This time we simulated the "thrust" compression of one of our favorite American compressors, and the "tough" multistage tube drive of one of our favorite British saturators. The result is a 2 knob beast that will have you sounding "phat" in seconds. No guesswork or mad science required. Just tweak it and find your "sweet spot"!
