IMPULSation is an impulse response/convolution reverb that lets you load your own impulses for an unlimited number of neverb and amp possibilities. To give you an idea of the power of this application: there are hundreds of thousands of impulses available for free on the web, and our application will load all of them, provided they are properly formatted in .wav or .aif format. For example, let's say you have an electronic piano sound that you want to run through the classic Fender™ AMP. You search the web for "Fender AMP Impulses" and choose from thousands of possibilities. You will spend hours downloading for free all available spaces, amps, reverbs and/or delays to use in your favorite AUv3 DAW.

Convolution and Inverse Convolution techniques are a way of feeding a signal through an amplifier, reverb unit, delay unit or space and using complex mathematical interpolation techniques you can create a very close copy of the actual source. Our IMPULSation is designed for AMP, Reverb, Delay and Space, and our code is optimized to detect which ones are being used. Detection allows us to optimize the signal for better CPU and best sound.
