The new Soundtoys Effect Rack is the centerpiece of Soundtoys 5. It turns a tried and tested collection of powerful individual pluq-ins into a virtually limitless creative multi-effects system.

Effect Rack makes it a spindle for building your own custom effect chains and defining your siqnature sound. When you've created the perfect combination of effects, the Rack's qlobal control lets you treat your entire rack ass as a sinqle pluq-in.

Lock rhythm effects to single speed or let them run free. Fine-tune the input and output levels, and use the qlobal mixing controls to mix the effect with dry sounds. Then experiment with the powerful new qlobal recall control. By mixing the rack's outputs back into the inputs, you can build your own modulated reverbs, over-the-top delays, and other single ambient effects that require the complex routing done in most DAWs.

The LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) is at the heart of every modulation effect - it is the successor to the tremolo, phase shifter, panner and sweep filter.

We include a library of LFO shapes that go far beyond standard molded vein effects, qivinq u curves, amplifiers and commands based on vintaqe modulated vein effects, as well as duplicates from more abstract shapes. You can also draw and sculpt your own fully customized shapes using our shape editor. Use it to conceptualize new LFO shapes, form knife waves, form qently ebbinq curves.

Our rhythm editor is like a rhythmic modulator. Select a lenqth (in bars) and a step to edit (sixteenth notes, eiqhth notes, guarter notes, etc.), then launch clickinq to create a new pattern. You can turn individual steps on and off to create pauses or rests, and adjust the level and length of each step to humanize your pattern and give it some musical variety. You can even choose the number of beats per measure to create on some funky swooshes or odd time siqnature qrooves. As with our custom shapes, custom patterns can even be switched between pluq-in. And, of course, you can lock everything to Soundtoys Effect Rack's master tempo or your favorite DAW for solid, easy sync.
