In this course we will start working with music software (DAW) and will install and use our first plugin. This course will cover drawing music into the software to create MIDI tracks. We will create a chord progression, a melody, and add a drum sample for good measure.

By the end of the course you will have produced your first track and be well able to produce any type of music that suits you!

This class is perfect for beginners who are ready to finally take that step and realize their dreams.

For this course, you will need to select and install DAW software on your computer. I will be using Ableton Live 11 and I recommend that students use this program as well, the lite version is a free way to get started.

We will also be using the Spitfire Audio App and Valhalla SuperMassive, both of which are free to download and use, and both of which can be communicated with and used in Ableton Live.
